These are pictures of my 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe Businessman's Coupe.  It was purchased in 1948 by my uncle John.  He then sold it to my uncle George.  I don't know when.  I know uncle George drove it to Iowa when he attended the Palmer School of Chiropractic medicine.  Uncle George then sold it to my dad, or he gave it to him.  I'm not sure and I don't know when.  Dad drove it until 1967.  I remember my brother and I standing behind the passenger seat, because there is no back seat on Sunday visits to grandma's.  I brought the car home in 1978 and restored it for my sister's wedding in 1991.  What a great piece of American engineering.  Simple, efficient, elegant, and practical.  It is a utilitarian masterpiece.
