I had a good day.  I was able to remove and clean all the valve springs and peripheral parts.   I was also able to remove the water pump and fan.  I cleaned up all the valves and they are ready for lapping.  The motor is looking good and if I can regain compression things will be OK for the short term.  The fuel gage and Amp gage are working fine.
